This NWF BS-300 Road-Rail-Bus / Straßen-/Schienenbus was a 2 way passenger vehicle for the DB, it was used on roads & the railways. The RailBus (stra-schi-bus) had all the necessary equipment for use on road or railroads. The rail-buses were equipped with a standard diesel engine. In Germany, the Schienenbus Railbus was developed to fulfil the need for an inexpensive rail vehicle. The rail-bus was designed by a German car manufacturer NWF.
