The original is on the Riesenbuhl in the area of the Schluchsee / Black Forest. First built in 1931, it collapsed in 1945 during a storm. In the late 1970s, the reconstruction began with Douglas fir wood, which guarantees tower storm safety. About 140 steps, the observation deck can be reached, which grants a fantastic view over the Black Forest.
